Block 1 · Hero — The Remote Compass

The Remote Compass Built by a remote recruiter $9

You can't find a remote job because you're applying for the same roles as everyone else.

There are 20 remote roles you've never heard of. Five of them fit you.

Find out which five in 30 minutes, using the same filter I use when I screen candidates for remote companies. Before you quit anything.

Block 2 · Credibility strip — The Remote Compass
  • 9 years in recruitment
  • 5 years interviewing candidates for remote companies
  • Psychologist · Certified NBI practitioner
  • Remote since 2017, before it became a personality trait
  • I've never promised anyone a job, and I'm not starting at $9
Block 3 · You have the experience — The Remote Compass

You have the experience. You just can't see how that translates to remote work.

  • You've been "exploring options" for eight months and none of those seem remote
  • You keep rewriting your LinkedIn and nothing changes
  • You want to go remote but you're not a developer, and have no tech skills
  • You're not burned out enough to quit impulsively, and not fulfilled enough to stay
  • Meanwhile people with half your experience are working from anywhere, and you can't work out what they did differently

You have the skills, but nobody ever showed you how to translate them, or which roles to target. That's why I am doing it now.

Block 4 · I'm a remote recruiter — The Remote Compass

I'm a remote recruiter. I see the same patterns all the time.

Remote companies want people who already worked remotely. Usually seniors, with niche experience.

When they open an entry-level role, it floods. LinkedIn's own numbers: remote jobs were 10% of open roles and took 46% of all applications. Nearly five times the competition, per posting.

Most of that flood never reaches a person. The tracking system screens the early wave first.

And nearly all of it wants the same four titles. Virtual assistant. Data entry. Content writer. Social media manager.

Let me get this straight.

You're competing in the four most crowded lanes on the internet, with no remote experience, against people who have it.

And you concluded that you're not good enough.

Block 5 · You're searching by job title — The Remote Compass

You're searching by job title. That's the whole problem.

Job title is the worst possible place to start a career change.

Because you can only search for the titles you've seen on Instagram — virtual assistant, social media manager — and land exactly where 40,000 other people landed.

Now try starting somewhere else.

Not "what have I done before."

How do I actually think, and what kind of work does that fit?

That question doesn't change every six months the way job trends do. It's been true about you for twenty years and it will still be true when the current hot job is gone.

That's what the Remote Compass runs on.

Block 6 · Two tools — The Remote Compass

Two tools solve this: how I think → what fits me.

Remote Compass #1

The Job Fit Finder

16 statements. You read each one and pick: not me / sometimes / very me.

Six minutes. Go with your first instinct, don't overthink it.

You come out with a thinking style: Analyst, Organizer, Visionary, or Connector.

For your style you get

  • where you should focus
  • the work environment you do well in
  • what quietly drains you (this is the part people underestimate)
  • what it actually means about the work you should be looking at

This isn't the kind of test that tells you you're a creative visionary butterfly. It tells you which environments cost you energy, so you stop applying into them.

Remote Compass #2

Remote-Ready Roles (2026)

20 remote roles, grouped by thinking style. Not by seniority, education, or your past job titles.

For every single role you get

  • Focus — what the work actually is
  • Remote reality — what the day looks like when it's done remotely
  • Who tends to fit — and who doesn't
  • Early friction — the part that's hard in month one
  • Worth exploring if… — the honest signal that this might be yours
  • A thinking prompt — one question to test it against your own history
  • Typical 2026 remote pay in EU and US

You don't read all 20. You open the column that matches your thinking style and read five.

Block 7 · Thirty minutes from now — The Remote Compass

Thirty minutes from now you'll have a shortlist of 3–5 roles.

  1. You pay $9. Card, one minute, one-time.
  2. You get both tools instantly. They live online, you open them in your browser. Nothing to download, nothing to print, nothing to "unlock next week."
  3. Tool #1, six minutes. 16 statements. You get your thinking style.
  4. Tool #2, twenty minutes. Open the column that matches it. Read five roles instead of two hundred.
  5. You keep the link. I update the role list as the market moves. You don't pay again for that.

Let's be clear about what you're doing here: you're not picking a career for the rest of your life. You're narrowing 200 listings down to five you can actually say something intelligent about.

Block 8 · About Bojana — The Remote Compass

I've been working remote since before it was popular.

Bojana Perovic, remote recruiter and career coach

Hi, I'm Bojana.

In 2017 I started my first remote business. Then another one. Five years ago I started working part-time as a recruiter for what a lot of people would call a dream employer.

My job is to interview people for remote companies. From my home office. In Montenegro.

So I've read a lot of applications. And I've watched a lot of capable people get filtered out of jobs they'd have been good at, because they applied for the wrong one.

I'm a psychologist by training and a certified NBI practitioner: I read careers through how people think rather than through what's on the CV. Nine years of doing that on the hiring side is where this tool came from.

I won't promise you a job. I can't. Nobody honest can.

I won't tell you this replaces the work. It doesn't.

What I'll do is stop you from spending another six months applying for the four jobs everyone else is applying for.

Block 9 · FAQ — The Remote Compass

Questions, answered straight.

I'm not technical. Are these developer jobs?

No. There isn't a single coding role on the list — that was deliberate. Most remote career advice is written for developers and it's useless to everyone else.

I've never worked remotely. Does this still apply to me?

That's exactly who it's for. Remote companies do prefer people with remote experience, which is why the four obvious entry titles are so crowded. The roles on this list are less obvious, which means fewer people are queuing for them.

I'm 47. Am I too old for this?

No. Several roles on the list actively favour people who've watched how organisations really work. Fifteen years of noticing why processes break is a qualification for at least four of them.

How long does it take?

About thirty minutes for both tools. Six minutes for the assessment, the rest is reading roles.

Is this one of those AI personality quizzes?

No. It's built on the NBI thinking-preference framework, by a psychologist who reads job applications for a living. The roles come from what I actually see remote companies hiring for, not from a trend list.

I don't live in the US or Western Europe. Is it relevant?

Yes. Pay ranges are given for both EU/global remote and US-based companies, and the third tool has a by-region tab. I run all of this from Montenegro.

What format is it? Do I have to print anything?

It's online. You open it in a browser, on a phone or laptop. Nothing to download or print.

Will this get me a job?

No. It narrows what you're aiming at, which is the step most people skip and then wonder why nothing lands. The applying, the CV and the interviews are still yours to do.

Block 10 · Two ways this goes — The Remote Compass

Two ways this goes.

Option one

You close this tab. Next Sunday you open LinkedIn, type "remote," and scroll past the same 200 listings. You apply for virtual assistant with 249 other people. In March you're still saying you're "looking into remote work," and you'll be a little more tired of hearing yourself say it.

Option two

You spend $9 and half an hour. You find out how you actually think. You come out with five roles that fit it and the pay ranges attached to them, and for the first time in eight months you know what you're aiming at.

I can't promise you the job.

I can promise you'll stop applying for the wrong one.
